  1. Reflecting on the year

As we approach the new year and 2018 comes to an end, we thought we would reflect on some extremely beautiful ranges added to our website that could inspire you in 2019. To be honest this year seems to have gone fast and it feels like 2 weeks ago I was lying in the melting hot sun whilst having a cold refreshing drink. Now I’m in my 2 furry coats scrambling for warmth!

One of our personal favourites is the Louis Philippe reclaimed furniture just because of its remarkable simplistic and elegant design with imperfections in the wood. I find it rather intriguing since it displays a natural beauty within the room, giving a sense of a traditional cosy household. Using natural wood imperfections has grew in popularity this year and became quite trendy, giving off a timeless classic French design that matches a huge amount of settings they are placed in. Ranging from modern to traditional homes.

Now if we are really reflecting on the year, then we have to add one of our gorgeous mirrors to this collection so we can really get a reflection… Yes, that was cheesy, I know! But take a look at this fabulous Chantilly dressing table mirror which can be finished in either a beautiful light grey or a luxurious white. From my personal perspective, the white is my favourite colour due to it being more eye catching and standing out in the room. It creates such a tranquil ambience! Now I’m not saying the grey is a bad colour for the mirror. This colour has its own unique qualities by tending to blend into its surroundings more and can also be a centrepiece on top of your dressing table.

Linking to the mirror, the whole Chantilly range is just marvellous and is finished in a sophisticated antique white or light grey colour. Perfect for most settings, it is crafted from a solid pine wood that will add an opulent touch to any room. In any season, this collection adds their own warm touch to the room and continue to stand out all year round which is why I just had to talk about this lovely design and range.
