Louis Phillipe and reclaimed wood
Our extensive catalogue is ever progressing and recently we have explored the classical French design of Sleighs. The Greek encouraged this movement in 19th century French design, leading to these scroll-like curves featuring beautifully in French furniture. We have been fans of this design for some time, as shown by our Antionette range and the outstanding craftsmanship that goes into those pieces. These boast a mahogany build and so have a very strong presence, this makes them outstanding feature pieces and collectively they create an unbelievable bedroom aesthetic.

In contrast to our Antionette range, the Louis Phillipe pieces are crafted in reclaimed wood with a much different presence than the powerful mahogany above. We wanted to add depth and bring this luxurious aesthetic into a more homely and warm light and this range does so exquisitely. The charming imperfections of the wood give it an amazing natural appeal and allows it to blend with other wood pieces splendidly.
[caption id="attachment_1204" align="aligncenter" width="1800"] in reclaimed wood, the sleigh style becomes so homely and welcoming[/caption]As you can see, although both ranges draw similar inspiration they are stark contrasts to one another in terms of interior designs. Thus, we now offer the sleigh style in a soulful and sombre range as well as an extraordinarily bold and beautiful collection.
We're very excited to see what our customers do with these pieces, we hope to see lots of farmhouse interiors and rustic style.
