The Study
Being swept up in employment and allowing your job to take a few hits on your personal life is common practice in the modern era and turned the home office into a trend, it has the potential to be your ideal work-space and a home comfort when you need to push yourself outside of work. Without forgetting to keep things personal we need to create a formal and inspiring room to keep you at the top of your game.

Typically, there has always been a strong masculine presence in the study, portrayed as the husband’s retreat from the family in almost every TV series it is wall to wall leather and dark wood … with a straight whiskey placed by the cigars. There is a reason for the aesthetic however, it does not have to exude a gender role but can simply create an atmosphere of ambition and control.

Floral Themes
Brighten the mood and create a natural scent, real flowers will lift your spirits and give you the energy to keep going. No one wants to feel cooped up so keep nature present within your work-space for an invaluable addition to your work ethic. Fish tanks can be a little 80’s villain but more importantly, a huge distraction, we want a relaxed but fresh environment.

The Desk
Possibly the most important part of your study is the desk, not only the type and the fit, but where it is placed. It has become well thought that productivity increases when you can see outside, unsurprisingly you don’t exactly feel inspired facing a wall. So, once you have the perfect desk to blend with your interior and work schedule, ensure you are placed firmly in the light with a nice view.
